Le Nicchie

It is located in the old city, a great location and it has all the facilities that you might need, including AC which is a must during summer. It was recently renovated and it looks quite nice.

It was a bit noisy some nights and the towels were not changed during our stay of 5 days, nor any cleaning was done in the room.

It was my second time at Le Nicchie and I’ve enjoyed it as much as I did last time ☺️ Perfect location, super clean and cosy. Thanks Pierluigi for being so responsive and helpful!

This is the cutest apartment we have ever stayed in. In the centre of the old town - everything to hand and with a host who couldn’t do enough for us.

Beautiful location and beautiful property.

V well done unique renovation in fantastic position in Bari old town, esp if arriving by ferry. Pierluigi - host was waiting to check me in and somehow got my 26kg suitcase up spiral staircase to second floor room and voted my case an Olympic medal for the heaviest case he’d carried up and to eternal credit he was there to carry it down 4 days later. I would have run the other way. B&b is beautifully renovated in perfect position. Delightful piazza and fantastic pizzeria is 40m away. Room smallish, but functional. Rooftop terrace is v relaxing after dark, but too hot in daytime summer. The staircase is v tight and requires extreme caution. Indeed Pierluigi’s next project across the alley will be having a small lift. The abundant pod coffee, bottled water and mini muffins took care of my breakfast requirements. The perfect pizzas are a challenge without knife & fork which fully equipped kitchen provided. Lighting would benefit from higher wattage bulbs or altered fittings, otherwise great stay and in particular great host.m
