Ai Quattro Venti Guest House

Da ich einen frühen Flug ab Fiumicino hatte, habe ich eine bezahlbare Unterkunft in der Nähe gesucht. 4Venti bietet 4 Zimmer direkt im "Zentrum" (also rund um den Tiber-Kanal) des Städtchens. Mein Zimmer (Levante) war groß, sehr hübsch und modern eingerichtet - hier hätte ich durchaus auch noch 2 oder 3 Tage mehr verbringen können. Denn Fiumicino bietet auch schöne Strände, gute Fischrestaurants und die Nähe zu Ostia (archäologischer Park an der Tibermündung). Mit seinem Kanal und vielen Fischerbooten verbreitet der Ort einen melancholischen Charme.

Die Kommunikation wegen des Check-ins war kompliziert (mal über Booking, mal über WhatsApp, ich hatte leichte Verspätung) und am Ende musste ich dann doch noch einmal anrufen, als ich vor der Tür stand. Monica kam dann jedoch bald.

Good location

Facilities were minimal (only a kettle, tea bags and tiny paper cups which melted, OUTSIDE the room) Bed wad not very comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and they appeared on the 2nd night.

Close to the beach, nice owner and her nonna, but…..

Dirty, moldy, smelly, and extra charged outside of was already paid. Very early check out, no exceptions. Over priced for value.

Ótima localização, tudo limpo e aconchegante. Cupom para o café com desconto e o contato com o taxista foram ótimos adendos.

Posizione bellissima, tutto a pochi minuti a piedi, servizi e ristorazione. Silenzioso e tranquillo la notte. Bar sotto la struttura ottima colazione. Host gentile e simpatica. Consigliatissimo.

No one waited for me in the property and their English was poor

Le bruit !!! Impossible de dormir avant 2h du matin car les chambres se trouvent juste au dessus d'un bar qui fait des soirées karaoké. Hurlements, rires, et musique ont littéralement sonorisé la chambre comme si nous y étions. Le lit grinçait à chaque mouvement et n'était pas très confortable. Il y avait une grosse tache de sang sur la couette. La salle de bain n'était pas nickel (traces de moisissures dans la douche, pommeau HS).
