Very welcoming hosts, excellent accommodation where everything has been thought through, and an idyllic location. What more could you ask for?

It's too far from home to stay more often (we live in Scotland).

Lovely area, lovely and clean,comfy bed and nice hosts.

The weather actually, since we were there during the Cyclone. But great we could stay an extra night when the next guests had to cancel. Good place as a base but not much outlook from within.

This was actually my second visit in two years and i absolutely loved it! So peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. The baking that was left for me was soooo yum as well as the visits from Bo the dog. Totally recommend it.

This was the best accommodation of our entire road trip on North Island (13 different hotels, motels and such) in terms of the quality of accommodatio0n and facilities and also in terms of location very close to the wonderful beaches of Ohope. It was the little touches and thoughtfulness of hosts who know what travellers need that made a big difference. And meeting Bo the dog and being introduced to the Red hen was a treat. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody wishing to stay a night (or several) in the bay of Plenty area, as it is an excellent base.

I cannot fault anything about this accommodation.

Beautiful setting. Private unit with seating area outside. Tranquil and a place to relax. Homemade biscuits were delicious. Visiting dog and butterflies were a delightful treat. Highly recommended
