"Warm home with personal onsen, enjoy star gazing."

Spacious and warm home. Our host Shiro is really friendly & hospitable. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cheesecake. Every morning we woke up to freshly made breakfast with fresh produce from his garden. We love the private onsen best and to be able to sleep viewing the stars in the warmth of the tatami room. Location is a great base to explore Kirishima & Mt Karakuni, many waterfalls & relax with nature.

"A hidden gem for a relaxing and peaceful stay."

Quiet and relaxing home-like environment. Excellent get-away place from the city and a nice view of Sakurajima. Has a private bath. Very good service from the friendly host.

"Superb"

Shiro, the host, with his warm welcoming smile. The private onsen, at the house's tub. The fresh breakfast that was offered with no addional cost. The views from the room (mt. Sakurajima) and the scerenity of a countryside house.

Room is basic, no place to hang clothes.

Tajima-san is very nice and kind. The breakfast was great and some of the ingredients came from the garden. His recommendation of restaurants is excellent!

The host speaks good English and provided warm and heartful welcome and hospitality. He served us breakfast with the daily harvest from his farm. He also suggested scenic spots nearby and recommended restaurants for our next hop. It's highly recommended if you like the natural environment and private hot spring.
