Great value, spacious. A quiet part of the island. The host brought a couple of bicycles for us to use. The host was friendly with a good sense of humour especially with my poor Japanese.

A double bed would have been nice. Also a couple more kitchen items like bowls, knife spoons and some coffee and cream pods.

The host is wonderful and very friendly. It has everything you’d need - private bathroom and toilet. Room was clean and had anything you’d need. There is a stop for the local bus around the corner so convenient to get around town.

Traditional Japanese beds may be uncomfy for some.

It was quiet, clean and comfortable and beautifully located. The hist was lovely and very helpful.

Nothing

The owner doesn’t speak much English, but he was super welcoming and informative. The room was huge for solo traveler, it comes with plenty equipments such as microwave, toaster, medium-sizes fridge, TV, lots of hangers, hair dryer. There were even washing machines and detergent that were free to use. On top of that, the light can be adjusted in many different modes with a remote!

They also offer free bicycles, but it was the basic one without speed adjustment. If you don’t want to work out too much with slopes (which was everywhere in Naoshima) you can reserve a bike from the specialized bicycle rental shop. There was one thing kinda bothered me, there was no safety chain/ latch on the door, of course the door can be locked, but it just feels not that secure.

I wish I could stay in this place more. The island itself is beautiful but the place made it even better. The owner is super nice, even if you don't speak the language, he shows and gives you everything you need. The room is very big and nice. The bus stop is very close but if you don't have to carry your luggage. It is a perfect island to walk. There is a washing machine. Super cute, lovely place. I hope I can come back one day to stay more!

The gentleman who met us was extremely accommodating and generous. He allowed us to store our bags and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, including driving us to our bike rental location. He didn't have to do these things but chose to do so because he is very kind. It wasn't expected and I wouldn't expect it if I were to return.

I liked everything about our stay. Everything about our stay was positive. It was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The bus stop was very close to the location and the gentleman took the time to show us where it was.

Really cozy quiet little place to stay with a restaurant and bus stop just around the corner. The owner is very nice and the room is enormous. Definitely would recommend!
