The family and host were very accommodating with suggestions and free to use bikes.

Everyting was perfect. The staff is nice and helpful, the house is comfortable both common spaces and also the beds, which are double sized. Each bed has its own curtains and fan (important for summer!). Having the option of taking a bike and ride to the lakes is a big plus. Highly recommended. Yuka was super nice, smiley and helpful during the stay. Would repeat, no doubts.

Such a beautiful place. Such a comforting place to stay. great for access to the lakes and the town. the free access to bikes is amazing.

Great room with view of Mt. Fuji, well equipped kitchen, quiet area, nice people around, nice sanitary rooms (sharing was not a problem), balcony for drying clothes, outside area, bicycles available.

The bus does not run too often, so for coming / leaving you should plan well (or use a taxi). Once you‘re there, the bicycles are a very convenient option, thank you!

A traditional Japanese home with great guest facilities and free bike use. Friendly owners and other guests were very nice too. Easy to ride around the lake, try local restaurants and access Mt Fuji and onsens

There was no air conditioning in our upstairs room so it was quite hot at night after a hot day

Would be the first place I recommend my friends if they are planning to travel to Japan, it’s beautifully done. Everyone was so accommodating and I felt very welcome. It‘s perfect if you are looking for some relaxation.

have been travelling for about three months and this is by far my favourite place i have stayed! i wish we had stayed longer. the host family are so lovely and welcoming. the facilities were amazing, super comfy bed and living area. full stocked kitchen, with complimentary snacks, a tv and smocking area etc the list goes on! they even provide bikes which you can use to cycle around which was one of the highlights of our trip to mount fuji! the location is also great, situated between the lake and the main town area. Will definitely be back next time we come to Japan!

Super friendly hosts. I enjoyed every minute! Everything is spacious and clean. The mattress was the best I had in Japan! You can rent bicycles for free. Well equipped kitchen! Bus station is nearby to get around as well. Convenient store right across the street. You can see Mt. Fuji from the balcony 😍

LOVELY hosts, beautiful views of Mt Fuji, super cool camping room and awesome bike rentals that make getting around very easy. Highly recommend to fellow travellers!
