the place is exactly what do you expect from the photos. Staff is very nice, Food is amazing, better than any restaurant, onsen really lovely especially after a long trek

The staff were very welcoming and kind. Dinner and breakfast were japanese style and so delicious. Well located right in front of the bus stop and a couple of minutes walk from the lake and the onsen source.

The onsen was a bit small but comfortable.

Staff - obviously they welcomed u on ur arrival. But when u were leaving, no one will entertain u. Onsen - it’s just a bigger bathtub for about 4 - 5 persons. Furthermore no cleaning. It’s 24 hours, u can use whenever u want to. It maybe ok 🤔 but shouldn’t they the clean the floor and the place where we clean our body. It’s black 🤮 colour already. Also, only 2 seats for washing body. U have to queue Food - No nice except the beef & fish (dinner). Breakfast totally 👎 Lastly, there r hidden charges. They asked for ¥500 for the heater. An A4 pasted on the front desk. You have to pay for period from Nov to March 🤬 In summary, not worth the price. I am sorry, but really NOT recommended.

"Beautiful setting - we opened the window and listened to the rain all night."
