Great place to stay. Very close to ski slopes and many restaurants in walking distance. Big rooms and shared bathroom is very clean. Loved the onsen as well. Also they had a drying area for all your ski gear which was secure.

"OK for a night"

Loved the bath, loved the free massage chair! Asked for a quiet room, and it was! (at the back, away from the road)

Not good value for the price they charge. Japanese style room, so tatami, futons, etc. not comfortable for me. Old hotel, zero atmosphere, zero English spoken. Very big drafty hotel with few guests. Okay for a night, or 2, but if you want to stay longer, look elsewhere.
