Sarah is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble in her beautifully presented hotel amazing decor with so much to be delighted by and the beakfast was delicious especially her scotch eggs wow.

The is nothing to dislike here

"A magical stay and a wonderful welcome from our host"

The hotel was a real hidden treasure. The decor was great creating a magical opulent experience. We were treated superbly by our host Sarah, welcoming us and having a range of treats for us and our dog. Breakfast in bed was superb. A really comfortable room, great nights sleep and a 15 minute walk into town to eat.

Everything was perfect - nothing not to like about our experience. Our host had thought about everything.

We loved out stay in this beautiful house, the interior decoration was very interesting and the bed was super comfortable. From the arrival we were given a warm welcome, staying in a room stocked with every refreshment we needed, and given accurate tips for places to visit in the town and further afield in Northumberland. The breakfast was outstanding in terms of quality and presentation, we would love to visit again if we ever return to this beautiful part of the country. Parking on street outside the building was easy, and the walk into town didn't take too long and with the lovely mooch along the river and the old bridge it never felt like it took too long.
