"Wheelhouse wonder"

Had a lovely weekend at Grinklebell. My wife, our dog Clyde, and I couldn’t have asked for more. The place was immaculately clean, and the fresh milk in the fridge was a really nice touch. The grounds, with the beautiful summer house, are amazing — and Clyde absolutely loved the freedom to explore. Highly recommended!

"Relaxing, quiet and memorable."

On opening the door to the cottage, we were surprised about the size of the accomodation, which was much larger that we thought it may be and everything was in "the right place" for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. Everything you may ever need was provided, and the bathroom had a large shower facility. One of the most wanted things was peace and quiet. The cottage is in the country side, situated near a farm. So peaceful, but there is a village approximately two miles away, where general items are available. We met the owners daughter, who welcomed us and also assisted us with using the fire.

Nothing. Also, the family greatly assisted my husband in obtaining some clothing that he had left in the wardrobe.

Very cute and cosy little space! Decor was lovely.

My only thing would be that the shower lacked oomph with the water pressure but we were only there for one night so this wasn’t really an issue for us! It could have also been me not knowing how to use this shower properly so definitely not something to mark down ratings for!
