De trip naar de grot was goed geregeld.

Alles, zelf je koffers de berg op sleuren naar je kamer, vlooien op de kamer, geen koelkast op de kamer, een lawaaigge airco die niet goed werkt, koude douche zonder zeep ed, verlichting werkt niet, locatie lastig te vinden, in de avond is een deel van het hobbelige pad niet verlicht (veiligheids issue), beheerder Andre communiceert totaal niet en praat vooral over zichzelf. Wij zijn een dag eerder vertrokken en het personeel doet niets met de kritiek.

Le logement est bien situé pour éviter l’affût de touristes en pleine journée et pour être les premiers aux guichets pour visiter les grottes de l’UNESCO. Il est à environ 15min à pied du centre. Logement calme, aucun bruit. Personnel accueillant et snacks bons et pas chers. Petit clin d’œil à Bella, le chien du propriétaire, qui nous a accompagné toute la journée en rando puis attendu le soir au logement 🐶🤎

The biggest highlight of this hotel? They organized an excursion to the underground river, getting us there before anyone else — we explored this incredible UNESCO site almost entirely alone, without the usual tourist crowds. An absolutely magical experience that alone makes the stay worthwhile. The setting itself is pleasant, with lush surroundings and birds and animals roaming freely around the cottages — charming and immersive. That said, the food is fairly basic and I wouldn't recommend staying too long. Two days are more than enough to enjoy the area. A great base if you want to experience the underground river in the best possible conditions. 🌿
