The property is not easy to find as it is very obscure. When you actually find direction, the access is very dodgy. You can only access on an suv. It’s only for the brave.

Driveway was inaccessible. A dirt road that had bumps, potholes and was too steep. Didn't want to take a risk of getting stuck if it rained so just left without entering the accommodation. Hi

Location was good

The entire apartment needs an upgrade. We had no lights, the whole 3 days generator for 5 hours only insects in apparent never slept personally not a good experience.and cold showers this place in very rundown.

Big flat with 2 large bedrooms and a terrace with sea view. The living room is cosy with 2 sofas. Friendly host, Pieter gave us good infos about restaurants and beach. There was a power outage since a few days, but Pieter ran a generator from 6am to midnight, so the problem was minimal ...

The access road is badly potholed in part.

I love the location! Port St Johns is a hidden gem. Everyone is friendly and you just get a vacation/jungle vibe there! Don't expect too much from swimming as the water and beaches are nice and beautiful, but not recommended for swimming. But you won't be disappointed, because there are many things to do or just relax on the beach looking at all the crabs. What's nice about traquility is that it's on the other side of the river, so you aren't in the town, but you cab take the ferry or a drive to town if you need to. There's also a little shop if you need some food or fishing tackle, etc.

For me it was perfect to stay there, but if you aren't like me you would maybe like more luxury, but I don't think that's why people come to PSJ. :)

The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, they really went over and above to help and make us feel welcome. Great value for money, the view is beautiful and such a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Gorgeous view of the beach from the patio - it's a perfect place for anyone who just wants to get away from the hustle and bustle and dose up on nature.

The path from the front door of our unit to the top of the steps would benefit from being paved, it was a little perilous in the rain. It could use a little freshening up, but is great value for money.
