Amazing location, clean accommodation, and the host provided milk, water, coffee capsules, snacks and a bottle of wine as a very nice welcome gesture. There was also a file prepared & left for us with recommendations about restaurants & cafes nearby.

We had a small incident when we found cockroach in the place but this is to be expected due to the abundance of plants & humidity. When I notified our host - Antonio - he promised to deal with the matter immediately.

This property has 3-4 units in it, flexible by design. Our reservation was for 2 bedrooms and so we were in 2 separate units opened with a common key. One unit was a spacious bedroom/bath and the other had the bedroom/bath, kitchen, dining, living, and outdoor patio spaces. The accommodations are modern, sleek, clean and comfortable. The pool is shared by all in the complex. A washer is available on the level with the pool. The location has an ocean view and in just a few steps one can be walking on the promenade to downtown Ponta Delgada, which was about a mile.

Unfortunately I never received the e-mail which detailed how to get to the property and how to then get into the complex and rooms. I am unsure why I didn't receive the message and the host believes the third party vendor may not have sent it to me. No worries. We struggled a bit to find the location. The parking is a bit of a challenge (dealing with that was also in the email I didnt get) We called the host and she walked us through the process of how to park and how to get into the rooms. When it wasn't going smoothly, she started to drive over to help us but then we got it to work and didnt have to bother her in that way. Every time I messaged the host, she was very prompt in getting back to me and trying to solve any issues. Once we were in our rooms, all went smoothly.

Absolutely fantastic location and place. I would love to spend more time just sitting on the deck and enjoying the views.

We had a group of four so had an upstairs property which was a one bedroom with a great kitchen, patio, and a living room area, then a second smaller bachelor apartment which had its own fridge and microwave. We found it to be a great setup for our group! Loved the shared outdoor pool and access to the walking path. Overall would highly recommend!

The wifi could be patchy but we found leaving the door to the apartment open helped!

Nice place, ocean view, cleaning of house every 4 days, we had the biggest appartement with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The parking was not exactly what I was expecting but it was only a 4 minute walk to where one could actually park.

Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

PROS: - good location - modern design - fully equipped - attentive owners

CONS: - 'basement' smell in the apartment because of the humidity in the walls - lack of privacy in the kitchen and in the living room because visible from the upper apartments
