Peace and quiet and convenient location.

Firstly, the location: if you don't drive, don't choose this place. If you do, then it's one of those rare gems that needs to be nourished! Located in the hills, in quite possibly one of the most beautiful locations in the Algarve, just outside Bordeira, and near to Santa Barbara de Nexe, the views from the guest house are spectacular. This is classed as a rural guest house, but I have never seen such a well equipped and spacious kitchen, if you want to self cater, in my life. It is out of this world, equally, the guest lounge and dining room, all occupying the top floor, are like a TV location set. Four en suite rooms and again, nothing left out. This place is an absolute gem. I would stay anytime here. Even has central heating for those chilly winter evenings. 10/10 from me.

WiFi was fairly slow

Very quiet, good to stay if you are alone and have a car to run away from people.

We did not had any kettle in the room, no cups, etc.. nothing to do around. Does not suit if you travel with a child. Hard to get a taxi in there, only 1 restaurant around and you need to walk 15 mins, but before to make a booking.
