O sr. Sérgio sempre pronto a ajudar, ofereceu dois cálices de vinho do Porto caseiro de excelente qualidade. Informou onde jantar e onde nos refrescamos na piscina/rio. Excelente qualidade/preço. Ventoinha no quarto que ajuda no calor nesta altura do ano. Sitio muito sossegado!

Tiene mucha limpieza la habitacion y baño. Sergio muy atento.

Por fuera está muy descuidado, mucha vegetación sin podar. A primera vista difícil identificar que es un negocio.

"Absolute Hidden Gem, Breathtaking View"

This town is a perfect little secret. Everything is in walking distance and the house is absolutely gorgeous. Sergio is a gentleman and a kind soul. You can tell how much he loves this home and how seriously he takes his job. There's nothing we wanted for and he was so sweet to bring us cherries! After a long night of flying from the US and to drive to his place, the glass of port wine couldn't have been more perfectly timed. Sergio thank you, from my heart 🙂

Nothing to dislike! I actually loved the stairs going up to our room, excellent exercise!

"A wonderfull experience in old world charm and values with fantastic scenery surrounding."

The 120 year old property has great charm and exudes family values. Our hosts were the most gracious of any we have meet in the last 20 years of global travel. We highly recommend this accommodation if you are bubget conscious and looking for a quality relaxed stay in wonderful surroundings👍

"One of my favourite stops"

I had such a great stay here. I parked my motorcycle right out the front, very safe. Owner kindly met me outside and was so welcoming. It is a beautiful old house with a garden and incredible views. I was even lucky enough to get a glass of Port wine before bed (thank you! It was delicious!) A cafe near by made lovely food for dinner and breakfast. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

"Superb"

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Casa Cardoso. It's an authentic Portuguese homestay in a small hill town, our room was very quiet and cosy and had a lovely view across the garden to the mountains. Sergio gave us a friendly welcome and we appreciated the complimentary glasses of port and biscuits in the evening. The house has been in his family for many years and has a peaceful kind of character. We found it to be as described, exceptional value for money and are glad we had the chance to stay there.
