Kalyan Guesthouse

Very simple, but nice and clean guest house in the centre of Hampi with restaurants and souvenir shops around. From this great location you can explore some places on foot without taking tuk tuk or taxi. Guest house has a free park, 24/7 hot water service and free wi-fi. Owners are friendly and helpful.

You need to be ready to wake up early, around 6:00a.m., because life in any village starts with a sunset ( you can hear all kind of animals screaming ,birds singing , neibor's kids playing around at this time), so if you want to sleep a little bit longer maybe better to find another place out of village.

Everything is amazing. The host has lots of contacts nearby and he arranges everything needed with utmost attention and respect. He made our stay so comfortable. It's clean and a nice place to stay and near to lot of good places in hampi. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone..

Its a nice place and the owner is really friendly and keen to help! The bed is comfy and there is space in the room. Laundry service is cheap and plenty of restaurants and temples are close by. We would definitely stay in Kalyan Guesthouse again!

Very nice guesthouse, very friendly owner, clean, nice location - all good. After check-out I was able to store my luggage in the guesthouse and even could take a shower after visiting Hampi and before getting on the train.

We loved the place. Great value for the money. We got full service. The host helped us to organize trips around the monuments, travels from and to bus stadion and gave us great recommendation. The ambiance was nice, you just feel so relaxed and welcomed. We recommend this place to everybody. And it's so close to the temples...

What a lovely place!! We celebrated Holi here and we could not have stayed at a better place. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. He made sure we arrived safely and picked us up from the bus station in the middle of the night. We also booked a very nice rickshaw tour through the owner for a good price. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Located in the middle of the city center close to restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Nice, comfortable and functional room in a small family-run place (they have just 4 rooms). The room was non-AC but very well-ventilated and shady, so there was no real need for AC. Anyway, they were installing AC so by the time you are reading this review, it should be already in function. Impeccable cleanliness. Located in what is left of Hampi Bazaar village, with a backpacker vibe. Great location for visiting Hampi temples, as the Virupaksha temple and many other sites are within walking distance. There is no restaurant on the premises but there are many places to eat just nearby. The owner arranged an autorickshaw for normal price for pick-up from Hospet and ride to the station.
