Great if there was just one knife and fork in the apartament

I managed to enter the paid property thanks to a neighbour who managed to contact the owner. Cleaner was unaware that she had to clean the property, so it was a late checkin.

Room was hardly 15sqm including bathroom. No bedside tables and no space for walking out of bed, No toilet paper holder. towel rail or hooks. No cups and saucers and only one glass for 2 people. Booked a double bed but were given bed with two single mattresses. No garden view as expected but it was a common passageway. Room situated 4 steps below street level. Hard to find property which didn't have a number. Upon arrival room was not ready, still waited for the cleaner in temperatures above 40deg.C and never given code for keys. Electrical sockets not properly fixed and exposed danger.

Location was great as it was in the old town. We had a balcony but only looking out to locals private entryways .

The room was very small with bare minimal, definitely not worth the money paid. I was very disappointed with this room, in comparison with other stays we had travelling around in Italy this room was the worst we had during our trip. I had booked a shuttle service with the host to be picked up at the airport as we were arriving very late in the evening. It was re-confirmed with the host just hours before landing that they would be there. When we landed I got a message saying unfortunately they can’t pick us up but we could just take a taxi outside of airport as it’s plenty outside. We walked outside to a massive cue for the taxi and ppl saying they’ve been waiting for 45min for taxis. I message the host informing him of this. He said the car was broken down. Then I heard nothing more him/her but after a very long wait we managed to find a shared taxi with others as not enough taxis arriving, then we did a self check in at the property in the middle of the night at 1.30am in the morning (2 1/2hour later) The next morning the host txted asking if we got there alright. Making excuses saying he was in “hospital” that’s why he stopped communicating with me and that the car that was going to pick us up had an “accident”. Not sure if I believed the story.

bedsheets -very old and not looking nice now duvet only bedsheets when May nights are still cold microwave would be more useful than a fridge Netflix and Amazon prime stated on list when booking the room however when contacted the owner those facilities were only available with the quest logging details plastic utensils very difficult to find even with help and Google maps however managed to find it in the end

The host immediately send the lady to change the bed linen but still,she refused to change it all. For the rest,the appartment was clean and in great location. Everything is few min walking distance.

The linen were changed at our request, but only the under ones (the lady doesn't change other parts between guest ....).

- location was super, right in the old town, easy to get to from taxi drop off, not a lot of walking required - the host was extremely helpful and very responsive - good value for money - we asked to have the sheets changed and he immediately assisted with this

- gets loud at random points during the day, due to neighbors mostly, however ear plugs helped - the water pressure wasn’t the best at random points during the day, but nothing major

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Some of them have a charming balcony. There is a mini bar with cofee, tea and snacks. It is with self check-in and check-out. The host is very kind, he was writing to us every day to check if all is ok. Wi-Fi was working perfectly. The place is in the heart of the old town of Bari. Is perfect, would visit again.
