VistaLago Torbole

The hotel is relatively new, with modern and comfortable facilities, all the rooms are facing the lake and the staff is very friendly. It’s just a short walk away from the city center (5 minutes). The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake is amazing, something different every day and always with local ingredients!

The road to the hotel is pretty narrow and steep - you get a detailed description of two different ways to get there, I suggest the wider option (it’s manageable, just be prepared).

Beautiful, private guest villa in wonderful Torbole. Room was large, very comfortable bed and linens. Well organized modular area to store suitcases and clothes. Fabulous terrace with seating and recliners. Amazing unobstructed view of the mountains and Lake Garda. Most rooms have small table and chairs but 2 terrace rooms with recliners so if important to you it is worth inquiring availability. Elegant , hearty breakfast of varied cheese, meats, fresh baked pastry daily and option for eggs, yogurt, muffins if preferred. Staff superb. Agnes is outstanding to ensure your comfort in the guest villa and advise for parking, local tourism and any other help. Left our passports in safe in Verona and she went out of her way to work with their concierge to remedy the situation. Torbole perfect for quiet, respite surrounded by active, athletic patrons. Nice, local restaurants. This does not have touristy vibe but one of relaxation. Fair price point good value for the money.

Only beverages available on honor system in common area. Arrived hungry and tired and crisps/cookies would have been helpful on arrival so as to not go back out immediately on arrival. Otherwise, nothing. Perfect property in a quiet, relaxed area, stunning area of Lake Garda.

Clean, comfortable and spacious room overlooking the lake. Staff were delightful.

The view is great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and with local and home made products. There is a lot of effort and thought that is put into the place. The decoration is tasteful and more on the minimalistic side. The bed is very comfortable. The room aircon and fridge are vey quiet, which is rare. Even though the main street is close and the one uphill is cobbled stones, there is no excessive noice at all. Super nice to sleep and rest!

The view comes at a price with inconvenient parking situation. Also, ask for directions in advance which I believe the staff will send you anyway if you leave your phone number. The staff is nice, I have no particular complains. My personal subjective feeling is a bit stand off-ish and somewhat posed rather than of an authentic hospitality but they also do not advertise to be a family run business, so all fine.

The view from the hotel terrace and our room was just fascinating. It was such a treat to wake up and immediately see this view. We didn't have a car and had to walk up to the hotel. It was not a problem for us. I am a hiker and it was an added bonus. The road is well-paved and safe. The beds were very comfortable. Super nice mattresses. The room was modern and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spacious. Delicious and various breakfasts. Every day we were served something new. Tiramisu (the most delicious I have had in my life), pistachio muss, marinated tomatoes, and eggplants. We stayed at 3 hotels during that trip and that was the most delicious breakfast by far. As a humble suggestion: I would add a blanket or a plaid in the fall to each room to make it cozy to sit outside and look at the stars in the evening.

The property is up on a hill overlooking Torbole and the lake. We were in room 5 which has a large outside deck with stunning views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is outstanding with coffee, fruit, meat/cheese platter, rolls and hot eggs.

The access road from the town up to the property is VERY narrow and steep so beware. I made it but only did the drive 1 time. Better to access the property from the upper road as advised by the staff.

Vista Lago is a fantastic property. It’s location is ideal, on a hill side overlooking the harbor and the mountains of Torbole. It is modern, clean with perfect views and a great staff and a terrific breakfast.

It is a little difficult to park your car, as the parking area is small.
