The area of Canzo is beautiful. Valeria, the host, was responsive and kind during our stay.

The apartment is a one-bedroom unit with very little natural light, giving it a cave-like and damp feel. It was cold inside, making it unpleasant during the start of winter. No cooking facilities — only a minibar and coffee/tea option. Bathroom had only a curtain instead of a door, which was uncomfortable. Shower provided just a few seconds of hot water before turning cold, with long wait times for reheating. Bathroom height is not suitable for tall people. Location of the apartment on the property is inconvenient, requiring going up and down from the parking area. Gate must be opened and closed manually each time by car. River noise was more disruptive than pleasant in winter. Wi-Fi did not work for the first two nights. Host did not agree to shorten our stay by one night and redirected us to Airbnb/Booking.com, who never responded.
