Guest Room Nesea

I booked this apartment for me and my son to go down to my mum. The lady told me that I did not book for my son which is not true. She cancelled our booking and maybe pay extra for my son. I was really disappointed as I don’t go home much and I was extortion and very unprofessional. I will not be staying there again.

The guest room is really just a stone's throw from the sea and the bus stop. The sea is beautiful, clean, with a picturesque view of Sicily. The beaches are not equipped, there are large stones at the entrance, and you need slippers for swimming. There is a coastal restaurant next to the guest house, and shops and cafes, as well as a train station, are a 15-minute walk away. The guest room is cozy, not large, but has everything you need, including an electric stove, mini-fridge, and dishes. The friendly and hospitable hosts are always in touch.

I would like breakfast to be more complete and varied. However, there is always an opportunity to cook it yourself :) The house has poor sound insulation.

I don't understand why they're praising this guest room. It's very small. A lot of things that are on the list of supplies were not there. No kettle, no iron, no bathrobes, no shampoo. There was no promised breakfast, airport transfer, as written, was not there either. Buses run at an interval of two hours, it is really problematic to get to the airport. The garden furniture is a plastic table and two chairs with a camera on it. You are outside under the camera the whole time. The biggest drawback was the persistent smell of sewage in the house. It was impossible to open a window at night. The neighbouring building is undergoing a major remodelling. They're breaking the laws on rest, starting work at 7am. There is an unbelievable rumble, they are destroying walls, dust is flying in a wall, so it is impossible to sit outside. The village itself is very dirty. On the beaches only fishermen and unbelievable dirt. We had to remove glass from the beach. The documents were not taken, it was not possible to pay by card, they did not issue a cheque for cash- Besides, I don't know why they're praising the landlady. She's completely impossible to communicate with. She does not make any concessions. Her daughter, who happened to come to pick up the rent, helped solve a few issues.

Very friendly and helpful landlord. Clean comfy room with all what you need in a quiet location.
