Villa Dorothee

Beautiful place to stay in capri, close to Piazzetta and shops. The rooms are spacey and the bathrooms is comfortable with all necessities. prices are high but that's Capri! however the owner is very kind and provides all suggestions needed to go around and reserve places.

A/C was not working in the first place. breakfast is at a bar where the staff is not very kind and flexible, I'd suggest something different to please customers given the beautiful stay the owner provides.

Nice and clean room, central location. Warm and helpful staff.

Breakfast is a coffee&croissant in a nearby pasticceria which does not sell any other than sweet pastries.

I loved the location. The host was very helpful and welcoming.

I would have liked the terrace off my room which I didn’t realize was not an option.

Villa Dorothee was tremendous, and Luca was so lovely - friendly, courteous, helpful, generous. The room was great and the property is just so beautiful - a little arboretum in the heart of Capri's old town area. We were in the Lemon Suite, which has a fantastic balcony with views of lemon trees (of course) and various other fruit trees.

The bed was a little hard for us by the 2nd night, and there's not much space to sit in the small room, but it's just such a great location and a fabulous place to stay on Capri.

it was easy to find, Luca was great communicating with us. He made reservations at restaurants. recommended activities. he’s very sweet and helpful. he’s also an artist and his art is displayed in the common area.
