Villa Dorothee

EVERTHING WAS PERFECT

We stayed in capri as part of our honeymoon. The Villa was super cute! Lemon and orange trees everywhere. We loved having a balcony. The room was very clean. AC worked great! We also liked that breakfast was included from a cafe close by. It was in a perfect location. There are a lot of shops and restaurants close by and it’s walking distance from the beach and beach clubs if you don’t mind the stairs. Luca was an excellent host. Very friendly and great customer service. Highly recommend staying at Villa Dorothee! We loved it and will definitely be back!

Great… Luca was extremely helpful in recommendations, advice about the island & in any way that he could help!! So much so that I would have given 100% top marks apart from below comments.

The steps & there were no plates or dishes (we’d bought food for a platter to eat on the deck but there was nothing to serve them on.) Sorry to say but both your cups were cracked.

The Villa is located in a central place in Capri, near to Marina Grande, just a few minutes walking from funicular. Spacious room with a great view from the secret garden that Villa Dorothee hides insides its walls.

The location was excellent, the room and gardens were amazing, and it was easy to move around Capri and Anacapri

Everything exceeded my expectations

Great location, and friendly, helpful owner Luca.

The room had very little privacy, because the room had a sliding door, you could hear everyone walkomg in, talking in the main living room and I'm sure If I was talking too loud everyone could hear me in my room as well. The shower in the back of the sun room also had no privacy. The room where the shower was located was made all of glass, hence the sun room comparison and the covering over the windows were not completely covering each window. However, it property is very safe and secure so there isn't anyone walking along the side fo the house to peep through.. Although anyone could. Overall, for a budget friendly, homey feel it was fine.
