Location, parking area, cleanliness, excellent service and exceptional views!

Everything was perfect!

Great views and facilities

It was close to yr neighbour so no real privacy and no sound proofing either. Luckily no many people were there but in the busy season it could be noisy.

We had a lovely stay in Praiano with Casa Stella Marina. The room was lovely and spacious with air conditioning, a mini fridge and a little terrace (all the amenities we needed for the 6 days we were there!). The room was cleaned daily which we hadn’t expected but definitely appreciated. The bathroom was nice with a spacious and powerful shower, something hotels often overlook. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. We bought bus tickets every morning from the front desk and had lovely chats. Particularly the smiley woman with glasses who made such an effort to ask how we were doing and gave us tips for each location (sorry, I wish we had asked her name!). It’s super easy to get around to Amalfi, Positano or Sorrento by bus as the stop is just down the road. The only warning we’d give is the inconsistent punctuality of the buses! Definitely allow for plenty of time. On two occasions we were waiting for an hour which was stressful as we had a boat tour to catch. The local area is lovely. It’s much quieter than Amalfi or Positano which made for a relaxing atmosphere every evening. There are many restaurants within walking distance and there are more if you go on a slightly longer walk towards the beach. As for restaurants, we’d really recommend Trattoria San Gennaro which had a lovely sea view next to the church. Very reasonably priced and really friendly staff who gave us some free limoncello and tiramisu. We’d also really recommend Il Pino which is just further down. The food was definitely the best we had while we were along the coast and the owner was very charismatic. We also went to Il Pirata for a more up market meal - you’re really paying the views as it’s right by the beach overlooking the sea. Food was quite average but good wine selection and service was great. The final place we ate was Che Bontà - we wouldn’t really recommend; the food was average and not as pretty a location as anywhere else.

The view is amazing and the rooms were very clean

We had a flickering red light in the room and terrible noise from every step of the room above. Also, the towels felt like paper towels

Location was close to a bus station

The hotel was located between several key sites. It made it easy to visit other locations. The hotel staff was friendly and assisted us with the information we needed to tailor our visits to the other sites.

No fault to anyone; just let people know parking is a challenge; plan ahead.

Location great. Breakfast at 30 euros extra per person was more than we could afford. It did look good though.
