It was very clean, nice up to date facilities. The staff in supermarket across the road were very helpful when I thought the door wasn’t open (but it was open). Nice and quiet!!!

It was walking distant to the Taisha Shrine, beautiful place wish I stayed longer. The town is very quaint and old fashioned. I highly recommend visiting the town very unique, people are lovely, helpful and kind!!!

Cleanses, Location and Netflix on TV. If you want to stay around the Izumo shrine, I would recommend this accom. This accom's location is gonna give you the opportunity to visit the shrine in the early morning. And a really nice renovated old Japanese style house.

Prepared shampoo and body soup are so small. We needed to buy ours at the shop in front of this accom. Nice location means a good price.

Very pleasant surprise : this is a very confortable appartement in a quiet neighbourhood litteraly steps away from the main sanctuary of Izumo. You need a car to get there but there is a reserved parking spot in the back. Free NetFlix and a superb Harman Kardon speaker bluetooth connects easily with your phone for some feel-at-home music. A small "Supa" right in front will provide to your basic needs otherwise, a 5min drive will get you all you need for a dinner at home. The only draw back is the owner : you have to phone him (not convenient with a Canadian line : we had to find a public phone) to get him to remotely unlock the entrance. But once in, it is home! We highly recommand.

Find an easier way to access the lodging than phoning the japanese only owner. Westerners crave places like this : there is big business here if you make it easy for vacationners like us.

It's one of the best location for guest houses in Izumo. There is a grocery store across the road and a liquor store next door.

Nothing
