遥華-Haruka House

We had a wonderful four days at Haruka’s house. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood, very close to both bus and metro lines. Its location is only two train stops from central Kyoto, so it is very convenient. Since the house is in a central part of Kyoto, it was easy to reach many places such as Gion, Karasuma, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Fushimi Inari, and Kyoto Station, with fairly similar travel times. Also, because the house was only a five-minute walk from the train line we used when coming from Osaka, it was very convenient for us. The house was generally clean, the garden was well maintained, and Haruka was very hospitable and helpful. When we first arrived, she explained how to get around and gave us general information about Kyoto. She also sent us the locations of nearby restaurants. The restaurants we tried based on Haruka’s recommendations were very good and more affordable than the ones in central Kyoto. She also showed us where the large supermarkets nearby were. She gave us her phone number so that we could easily reach her whenever we had a question, and she helped us every time. She even explained how we could get from Kyoto to Tokyo after our stay. When we arrived in Tokyo, she sent us a very sweet message asking whether we had reached our place comfortably. For us, Haruka’s house was a very lovely accommodation experience. The washing machine, the beautiful garden, the overall cleanliness of the house, and the lovely tatami room — which my son especially liked — were all great advantages. If I visit Kyoto again, I would definitely stay here again. Overall, it is a wonderful place to experience a Japanese family atmosphere and a traditional Japanese home.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, while still offering excellent access to public transportation, including the metro, train, and bus. We especially appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, introducing us to the local area and recommending places to visit as well as great restaurants to try. We were also warmly welcomed with a small treat from the hostess, which was a very thoughtful gesture and made us feel at home right away. Throughout our stay, we truly felt comfortable and at home. Thank you once again for your hospitality. If we visit Kyoto again in the future, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

Haruka House was homey, immaculately clean with a quiet location and close to transportation. The owners were very kind and caring. We enjoyed our stay here!

La gentillesse de notre hôte et sa disponibilité, le confort du logement qui était plutôt grand, nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin ! Le quartier autour dans lequel nous nous sommes sentis bien et qui était en transport en commun proche de nombreux sites touristiques.

Haruka San è un host eccezionale. Mi ha accolto con una tazza di the e delle specialità locali. Inoltre mi ha aiutata per tutta l’organizzazione logistica e fornendomi mappe comodissime. Si possono fare delle lavatrici e stendere per un refresh della valigia.

La gentilezza e la dolcezza della proprietaria. Parla un buon inglese e ci ha spiegato tutto quello che c'era da sapere sia per la casa che per i luoghi da visitare. In casa c'è tutto quello che necessita. Una coppia ha dormito in una stanza stile europea mentre l'altra (io) in una tipica stanza giapponese, sul futon. La proprietaria, sapendo che non siamo così abituati a quel tipo di sistemazione ha messo a disposizione 3 futon da poter piazzare uno sull'altro (come abbiamo fatto) e vi garantisco che abbiamo dormito bene. Casa pulita. Stazione della metro poco distante e con 3 fermate si arriva a Gjon o, con un cambio, alla stazione centrale. Inoltre a 200 metri c'è un grande supermercato.

Eine ganz wunderbare Unterkunft! Sehr sauber, sehr bequeme Betten, top ausgestattet mit sogar einer kleinen Küche und kostenloser Waschmaschine. Die Lage ist perfekt, nur 5 Minuten zu einer großen Station zu Fuß, von dort sind es nur 7 Minuten bis zu Kawaramachi Station mit den wichtigsten Sightseeing Spots. Und das in einer ruhigen Straße. Fr Haruka ist unglaublich freundlich und hat mir sehr bei meiner Reiseplanung geholfen. Sie betreibt das kleine Homestay mit viel Herzblut.
