The Lodge Guest Accommodation

I would not recommend this place anyone. For the price paid, the expectation was of course not much as the purpose was just to sleep one night in a clean place. But the room (sheets, bathroom etc. ) was not clean. The door did not function well and felt not safe. And sleeping was impossible because of the noises from upstairs and the pipes. We stayed in a triple room and for three people only one set of towels were available. The beds were overused, old and useless, so you sink inside in the middle of the bed. There was only one light (ceiling) functioning in the room which was dim. Bathroom light and the light over the bed on the wall didn’t work at all.

For the money the hotel was fine. Kids had a great time, staff were lovely. BUT floor was filthy my socks and the kids feet were BLACK! Rooms were a little run down, could definitely be doing with an upgrade but it was fine definitely stayed in worse.

The room was clean and tidy. Great location to town. Plenty of parking.

Room was upgraded to king-size bed, toilet and shower. Near town centre and buses

The room overlooked a busy, noisy road. Noisy cars etc so couldn't hear television at normal volume. TOO NOISY The town hall opposite Lodge chimed every 15 minutes all through the evening and night. TOO NOISY

I liked everything about the room. It was great.
