Hostal Dorys Mar

Rooms were clean and the location was good - only a short walk from the town centre.

The lady wasn't very friendly to me. I was charged more than the price on booking.com and due to the English/Spanish communication barrier I have no idea why! But despite the communication barrier, it wouldn't have been hard to smile and seem happy to have me there!! Also there's no hooks in the room so you can't hang out wet bathers or towels after a day at the beach. The drinking water was often empty and not refilled until the next morning. No kitchen but there is a fridge you can use. Also on the day I checked out I was told to store my bags in the reception area but when I came back to get them, it was locked and there was no one around. It was stressful because I needed to get to the airport!! Personally I wouldn't stay again because I didn't feel welcome.

This hotel was a perfect place to land when coming into San Cristobal. It it close to the end of town that you can easily walk to Playa Mann or the downtown. Staff was great!

It is up a hill and a little bit away from the main areas, so you will always be walking for a bit. Also, there is no kitchen on site.

I loved the host! She was very friendly and helped me get my laundry when it was closed and I had a plane to make

The place is feel new and colorfull. There was nice showe with hot water the whole day. The room was big with a balcony.

The place is really far from the center, around 14 min walking. When it's hot, or in the night, it's not really nice. I guess the distance made the place also very empty. There were no common area. There is no kitchen there - only fridge, so be aware to that you can't cook.

Doris is a great host and very welcoming. She let me use her kitchen to cook food, even though this is not an advertised facility. Great value for money, comfortable beds, hot water in the showers. I came back twice and would stay again!

The location was fine, but it is not marked on Google maps, which made it hard to find. In the common area, it would be helpful to have some cutlery, as I was eating oats in the morning, but I had to bother the family downstairs for a bowl and spoon each time.
