Anou Home - Guesthouse

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Amazing rooftop space just outside our room with views of sunset. Anou could not have done more to make our stay a pleasant one. A tasty and generous breakfast, one had in the property and one take away for Angkor Wat. Easily one of the most comfortable places we have stayed on our travels so far.

Not in the centre but we like an opportunity to get some walking in and a grab would be very cheap so this shouldn't put people off!

Host was very caring and considerate - nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable stay away from the crowds. Able to chat to the locals.

No other tourists in immediate vicinity but very good restaurants were only 5 minutes away.

The host, Anou, is wonderful, thoughtful, and very communicative. The home and bathroom were clean and the room and bed were extremely comfortable. The AC and fan kept the room super cool and the WiFi is consistent. The home is a little off the beaten path and located in a local neighborhood on the edge of town. This was great because I got to mingle with the local people and join in some authentic experiences. Grab taxis and Tuk tuks are available for pick up to and from the house. I felt safe and Anou made amazing meals and made sure to keep me well fed. Also, if you are an animal lover then you will enjoy her crew of cats that reside outside.

We had a lovely stay at Anou Guesthouse. The 2 rooms we booked were nice and clean with airco and plenty of windows. Her breakfast is the best we had in all our months of traveling in Asia. She also cooks good food for supper if you don't want to go uptown in the evening. Nice view from the rooftop and the balconies. Friendly owner ready to help with anything. Cute cats hanging out on the garden.

Some dogs barking at night, so bring earplugs. A bit far from the tourist restaurants in town, but plenty of tuk tuks to book with grab to get there (abouy 1 euro/ grab)

Nice rooms and great food

This is the best place of our trip so far and I don’t think we can find any better. It felt like home ! It was spotless, very clean, the mattress is awesome, the towels smell so good… Anou has a kind heart and is ready to help anytime. She has got every contacts and solutions for you if you need a driver, a motorbike, laundry, good places to eat, recommandations… free bike at your disposal. You can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s better than most of the restaurants. Good value for money but the most important is the great talks you can have with Anou. You will learn lots of things about food, culture and the country if you are curious. Many thanks for everything again. I recommend and I hope I’ll have the chance to come back.

Our stay was amazing! We don't even know where to begin: - The room is spacious and has a nice view. The house is well located in a quiet neighborhood. If it's rainy the road might get a little bit adventurous but that was even more fun. - The roof terrace is spacious and perfect for having breakfast/dinner or just relaxing. - Anou is extremely nice. We really loved talking to her. She does everything to make you feel comfortable. Anou organized different kind of transportation for us and also helped getting our mobile phone repaired. - We always had breakfast and dinner that Anou prepared for us. So delicious! - She also sells pepper that her family grows. With her pepper our Swedish home made Pepparkakor even taste more delicious. We are still in contact with her. Thank you for everything and an unforgettable stay, Anou!

I had a wonderful stay at Anou's Guesthouse! Anou is without a doubt, the queen of hostesses 👑 You will be greeted with a very warm welcome and always a lovely big smile! She was able to help with all my questions about the local area, and also with booking tours & bus ticket. -The room was spotless and very comfortable! - The food Anou serves is delicious and made with love! -The location is ideal for those who want a quiet slice of city life! - If you are a cat lover like me, there is an adorable cat gang who have adopted Anou (because they know she is the best hostess), and they can be found for cuddles outside the guesthouse. Not to worry if you aren't a cat lover because they never come inside the property and will keep their distance When you are in Siam Reap, this is the best place to stay in my opinion!! Hope to be back soon ☺️

This is a lovely guest house. We spend 4 days in total relax. The rooms are big, clean, cosy and quite. Anou,the owner, she's amazing, nice and helpful, she also can prepare for you delicious breakfast and dinner. For anything you need just trust her.

Maybe the only thing is that is not in the centre but you can take the bikes or grab to go in the city. For us this wasn't a problem

Anou organised transport for us from the airport at a good price. She is a great host and is always on hand to support you in person or via WhatsApp. The room was spacious and clean, we even had a terrace area we could use which was a nice addition. The location is good for easy access to the centre. We would most definitely stay here again!

We arrived at the start of the water festival, therefore there was quite a bit of street party noise. However, this didn’t stop us from sleeping well with some earplugs. I would imagine it would be pretty quiet generally had the festival not been on.
