Everything was excellent, the pool was clean. Really incredible for the price paid.

I would change the bed sheets since they are not well suited for hot environments.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were good. The pool was nice, as was the common courtyard area. It was fairly quiet at night and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Smileys is located a short walk from the main part of town, with supermarket and restaurants very close by.

The bathrooms were cramped and rather dark, and noise from the courtyard does carry up to the rooms.

The family who run the guesthouse were very welcoming and helpful. They were able to book transport for me to get to Phnom Penh as well. The room facilities were good, and it was comfortable aside from the temperature. The location of the property was excellent. Very central, and easy distance to a lot of popular places.

This is no fault of the owners, but just a tip when booking. I had made the mistake of booking a 'fan-only' room as I didn't always use the AC in other places on my travels. I didn't ask to change rooms as I was only there for two nights. Cambodia in January is too hot for a 'fan-only' and the temperature doesn't drop much at night so the heat in the room just keeps on building. There was a door that opened out onto the balcony, which is good for fresh air, but not really for cooling down the room.

Great place, really welcoming family and staff around, comfy rooms, great pool and common area and good location just 10 min walk to night markets and there’s good restaurants on the street. They also have a tuktuk driver you can book angkor wat with he was really good.

the wi-fi and electricity cut out a lot, not sure if this was common or just something going on while we were there but we stayed 5 nights and had problems the whole time.
