The Beau Beach Weligama

I booked this place for few days.. as baggage storage while travelling to Adam's peak But after check in I've discovered that room is fresh & clean, bright and cozy, bed is great, there were working place and WiFi was strong enough to do my job. so i prolong my stay for few weeks. Location is good! everything is rather nearby, yep... about 20 min to surf points, but you can walk along the beach, sunbathing or jogging to worm up ))) just enjoy Owners were friendly ( i was worry a bit because of some reviews) i didn't have any problems and they react fast and nice to my requests. Google translator, smile and whatsApp with their son - worked well in case of any things to discuss etc. My feedback refers to rooms on veranda on the back yard. There are different type of rooms there, but i can recommend that one which i tried. Don't expect Marriott service for this price and you won't be disappointed ))) but it's really one of the best value for money options in economy segment.

drain & sewer system is disappointing ... hope owners could find a way to improve it

The staff's behavior was quite rude. They do not have proper Fan service and the table fan that they had was horrible. No proper door mat and bathroom mat. The flush was not working properly and the shower was not working.

It was just 5min to the beach though the main surf spot is a little bit farther away about 20mon walk.

You basically had to work through the living room if you don’t use the stairs outside. Also in the room they had three different types of plugs. And just one with the new UK plug and that one was not even good to reach because the Van was in the way.

Room was simple and clean, all that i needed for a short stay. The woman was kind and helpful.

The man was rude, unwelcoming, impatient and inhospitable. He demanded for slightly more money (in lkr) than the listing had been advertised for (in usd). It felt incredibly transactional and I didn’t feel like a guest. I would rather pay more for a better experience. It made my stay in Weligama disappointing.

The room was clean, had a mosquito net and a fan. The owners are so sweet. They even took care of me, when I was sick. So wholesome. I am still thankful for the help 🫶🏼

The price

It was very very hot in the room. The furniture was old.

Сlean room with all amenities. Friendly hosts. The owner lives on the first floor and rooms on the second. You can't hear the road, the windows face the courtyard. Good value for money! I recommend!

The room was clean and bright. Community kitchen and own bathroom were clean

Wifi did not work constantly. Room could get very hot in the afternoon.
