"Exceptional"

This was our second stay at the le Patio du Lac and we were greeted once again with a very warm welcome. My partner was feeling sick and the owner offered to get medication for us which shows his care for his guests. The facilities are beautifully decorated, rooms are clean and very comfortable. The lobby area is gorgeous. Food was also fantastic very fresh. Great stay!

"Great hosts and nice food"

Great host. The cook makes exceptionally nice tajine. My wife is local Amazigh and she rates the tajine very highly so I guess it passes all tests in my book :)

"Beautiful and cozy"

The place is amazing, very nicely furnished and perfectly clean. Rooms are beautiful, there was a problem with the toilet in our room, however the owner gave us another room straight away. I suggest renting a car to go for trips to the Atlas Mountains and to the Berber villages in the desert.

The owner did not speak English so it was a bit difficult to communicate

Very, very cool designer vibes. Soft sofas, beautiful pool, bowls of oranges, open fire.

Sadly, the weather made a lake visit or even just sitting outside impossible.

"Great with Moroccan Quirks"

Nice Moroccan breads, evening food tasty, early breakfast provided very early 7.00 on day of departure 😊, arrival at midnight the head man was very helpful with a late coffee and very helpful with luggage , nice real fire for morning & evening as it is cool in winter, view of the lake & African evening sunset 🌅

Coffee some times was not hot, due to the flasks being used, view of the lake nice - but close up there is lots of plastic & junk that needs cleaned up by the local council, evident in many other places in the village & all of Morocco - well below European standards eg Spain, France , annoying noisy call to prayer at 5.30 , & 7.30 in the morning, indoor poor is small & more for decoration not used, laundry day on return the room was left unlocked anyone could have walked in & taken our stuff - not acceptable
