AUThis place is in a quiet location, perfect for staying or visiting for a few days. Each guest has a a standalone room with bathroom so you have lots of privacy and shade amongst the LOTS of palm trees. It’s like your very own treehouse!!!! There is a surf point out the front - ‘Lighthouse’. We are here in May and it has been working well. Unsure about the rest of the year. For a surf trip, it is absolute perfection. Staff are really friendly, the food is great and affordable, accommodation is affordable and it is beautiful here. Highly recommend.
Access to a shop
CHIf you want to be away from the crowds with a very chilled out atmosphere, then this is THE place. The cabins are rustic and simple but right in front of the beach. There are different categories at different prices, but they all have the basics and are comfy. You get to sleep hearing the waves breaking! Since they are quite far away from everything (and the closest village is not so big) they offer really good food in their restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. The Sri Lankan breakfast is the absolute best! If you don't have your own surfboard, I'd recommend renting one in Arugam bay since you will find a better selection and prices than what they have to offer there. I regret not having stay longer! Maybe next time, thank you!!
LKAUThis is an idyllic place to stay, located right next to the beach in a palm forest. The accomodation is simple wooden cabanas with good fans. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

PECHAmazing location, very calm and two surf spots with a small lineup are directly in front of it. The food is very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Perfect location to escape the hassle of Arugambay.
Be aware that the huts are not closed. You share your place with the other forest inhabitants like frogs, squirrles and lizards. If you don't mind, you will enjoy it here. But we've slept on much more comfortable beds at other places (especially if you are larger than 1.80 m). Some investment in new mattresses would improve the place a lot.
NZI really like to stay here, location is amazing, right in front of the beach, quiet and perfect place for relaxing. Also surf spot is walking distance, and won’t get busy as Arugam bay, that’s a bonus! There is restaurant in the facility, I really liked Daily special menu for lunch and dinner, price is affordable as well.
Dorm is pretty basic, they didn’t collect the rubbish for a while could be better if they can do more cleanup

It seems like the dorm it is not properly looked after, messy, dirty, and not blanket to fover yourself at night Bed was not comfortable and feels like the beds are not cleaned between guests Also toilet was pretty dirty
