DEThis is a very special place. So beautiful and peaceful with plenty of space to chill and enjoy being in nature, but if you want to be social you can just hang out in the restaurant and meet lots of smiling happy people (at least in the high season). A beautiful beach and two surf breaks right in front. We couldn't ask for more.
GBLighthouse Beach Hut is my favourite place in the world! Two epic surf spots outside, amazing family style dinners in the evening, cracking banana pancakes and immaculate vibes at all times. So much love to Guna who looked after me so well throughout my stay.

Perfect for us after the bustle of Arugam Bay.
No wifi. Almost impossible to get any signal even if you have 4G. Not ideal if you need to work. The hut got very hot so it was difficult to fall asleep. There are no AC huts. There were mice in our hut which ate through our belongings. The host kindly offered us another hut. Mice still climbed into the hut from the roof but this time we had a locker where we could store our belongings. I guess a few mice is inevitable when you are sleeping in the jungle.

FRThe place to be to have a real relaxed time. Very isolated, very quiet, nice people. It is of course not a hotel with all amenities. It is about surfing (bring your own board, rent one in Arungam), swimming, reading, ... nothing else.

CHBeautiful huts. Basic but you have everything you need. Food is great. There is not a lot to do exept tanning, reading and go for a swim ( its very wavy) and maybe surf. Next to the lighthouse you can also have drinks and food
