Bella Nilaveli Beach

The property has 2 minutes access to the beach, has a wonderful garden, excellent food (the best grilled prawns ever) and very friendly staff.

The rooms were a bit small and the bathroom outside.

Loved the Cabana accommodation, the pool, the aircon. Nice big outdoor shower area

Would have been nice to have a few hooks in the outdoor shower area to hang your towel on whilst you had a shower. I think the shower area had deliberate black painted spots on the floor to contrast with the blue painted floor, but it would have been better if it was all black or just concrete colour so it didn't look like mould.

Great location right by the beach, the place also looked very peaceful with a nice garden and swimming pool. The food was good, and service also very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was very outdated, and the door couldn’t close.

Lovely staff and great food. Best chicken noodles I have ever eaten.

The place is beautiful, with a nice pool, a bar and they grow their own fruits, vegetables and herbs. It’s a very nice and romantic place where you can really relax for a couple of days. Staff is very friendly as well.

We had an outdoor shower which is fun but the mosquitos weren’t. Our room could use some upgrade but it didn’t really bother us.

The garden is beautiful, well maintained and very peaceful / friendly stuff

Activities seem a bit pricy

A great find on the beach in Trinco. Fabulous pool and so close to the amazing beach. The family room we had with two bedrooms was excellent with fans and AC in each. Beautiful plants in the garden and a balcony with plenty of places to lie in the shades or sun.

Fantastic pool with excellent on site cafe. Short walk to a gorgeous beech, shallow sloping so good for swimming. Breakfasts varied and filling. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 3. Still quiet in the beach front bars and resteraunts.

Doors could do with a latch to keep them shut when not locked.

This was a little haven of tranquility ,great staff,delicious food-especially breakfast - A sense of family and safety Lush garden Clean comfortable huts All in all -super -and hard to leave !we loved our open air bathroom -

We loved everything about the property -the area is a bit grubby and the beach is not the cleanest and out of season not really swimable -but their pool and garden make up for this .Trincomalee was an interesting town and the temple was so vibrant - we had transport so we could go further afield too.

Everything, very relaxed, very clean, great food and coffee plus and not least, the staff were very welcoming and the pool was lovely. The manager organised a snorkelling trip to Pigeon Island to swim with the turtles and reef sharks. The guide he provided was excellent. A tuc tuc driver was organised to take us onwards to Trimcomalee and we happily agreed for him to take us all the way to Polloanwara which was much appreciated and a good fair price. Thank you to all Team Bella for making our stay so memorable.

Nothing all was great, thank you. We took a long walk up the. Beach and we’re saddened by the plastic rubbish but our visit was in the winter off season time. We were told by a number of people that more effort is made in cleaning up the beach area during the main tourist season. Do not let this deter you coming to a wonderful place.
