Swan Lake Habarana

El hotel está en perfectas condiciones, en un lugar rodeado de naturaleza y cerca de los lugares de interés. Kalhara es el propietario más amable y dispuesto que hemos conocido, siempre está pendiente de ayudar, de recomendar sitios y de programar actividades. El desayuno está muy completo y rico, cocinan muy bien y con alimentos frescos típicos de Sri Lanka. Nos hemos ido muy contentos, lo recomendamos al 100%.

Kalhara and his wife are great hosts who truly care for their guests, going out of their way to make sure guests have an exceptional experience — even after their stay at the Swan Lake. Three clean rooms with comfortable beds, AC and hot water are set in a beautiful garden with all kinds of plants and wildlife, including the occasional monkey. The Sri Lankan breakfast they serve is exceptional and varies daily. Various Sri Lankan dishes are available for dinner, maybe a bit pricier than at some places in town but absolutely delicious and well worth it. Kalhara is very knowledgeable, easygoing, reliable, quick to respond and eager to organize tours and transport even on short notice. In town, there are also plenty of tuk tuks to take you wherever you want to go. It's best to get an impression of the going rates before booking anything. The Swan Lake is a great place to stay, I can highly recommend it and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Just some minor things: At the time of my stay, some kind of celebration was going on in town, with music playing all night long. Insects can come in through the bathroom window and under the back door.

Kalhara è un padrone di casa accogliente e professionale. Ottima la colazione, sempre diversa, così come le cene. Se vuoi ti organizza anche gli spostamenti e visite nei luoghi di interesse.

Kalhara fue encantador de principio a fin. Muy cercano y siempre con una sonrisa y super pendiente a tu comodidad y peticiones en la estancia todo el rato. Nos fue dando recomendaciones cada día para mejorar nuestra experiencia y nos facilitó en varias ocasiones el transporte a los diferentes sitios. Además, la ubicación es excelente; en Habarana pero alejado del ruido en una zona muy tranquila y segura. Buena ubicación para luego moverse a lugares de interés próximos: Safari de Minneriya, Sigiriya, Polannaruwa, Pidurangala, Dambulla, etc. El desayuno estaba incluido en el precio. Decidimos cenar en el hotel todos los días y él se encargó personalmente de gestionarlo y por un precio super razonable en cuanto a calidad-precio. La comida era casera y muy rica de tal manera que nos iba enseñando cada día cosas nuevas del país. Recomiendo mucho cenar en el hotel!! Limpieza, lugar, etc. Todo perfecto. Cama extra grande, baño limpio y cómodo y con aire acondicionado... Nada más a pedir y no tenemos ni una sola queja. Las fotos no hacen justicia. Si volvemos alguna vez a Sri Lanka, sin duda nos alojaremos en el hotel de Kalhara y su familia!!

From being welcomed with special fresh fruit juice to mid day star fruit,, everything about this place was great. Kalhara is an amazing host and very helpful. Even the breakfast was very nice and complete sri lankan style. Loved staying here.

Great Stay!

-sehr leckeres authentisches Frühstück -tolle Kommunikation -viel Hilfe bei Ausflügen, Busfahrten für Ankunft und Weiterreise -tolle organisierte Safaritour über die Unterkunft, es war super wir haben viele Elefanten gesehen. Wir fanden es im Gegensatz zu anderen Touren preislich mit 20.000 für zwei Personen in Ordnung und für das was wir gesehen haben war es das auf jeden Fall wert. -Sauberkeit und Komfort war okay, insgesamt einfach gehalten, das sollte einem bewusst sein

-die Lage ist nicht ganz zentral, was für uns okay war, wir aber hier erwähnen möchten

We had a wonderful stay at swan lake. Kalhara the host was so helpful. He showed us his beautiful garden, waited with us to catch the bus, and his wife made delicious breakfasts! True hospitality. Would definitely stay again if in the area and are so thankful for the great stay. Just an FYI - dinners at the property a bit more on the expensive side at 2750 LKR/person compared to other restaurants in the area. His wife is a great cook though so it was very delicious!
