Clean and safe rooms, good AC. No complaints.

Iresh and his wife are very kind and helpful. I had a problem and they helped me a lot. The location is perfect, just 2 min walk from the beach and many restaurants and the fish market.

Located just steps from the beach, this charming 3-bedroom apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious balcony, and all the comforts of home. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. A supermarket is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk away.

Great location near the beach. Pretty quiet. Basic room but you get what you pay for- it did the job for a night. Easy walk to bus stand for onward journey. Didn’t have much interaction with hosts but they were friendly enough

No soap / shampoo etc , it didn’t matter to me but good to know. Mosquito net difficult to position as no bed posts.

We stayed at Weligama Bay House for nearly three weeks and had a wonderful stay! The place is run by a wonderful family who are super welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. They help with laundry and transportation, and can also make you delicious dinner or breakfast. We had many interesting conversations with Iresh, the owner, about the culture of Sri Lanka and our home country. :) The wifi is decent most of the time. I was able to work remotely and have Zoom calls. There's a shared fridge and kitchen space with the basic things so you can cook your own food if you want (the big family apartment also has its own kitchen). The location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk to the beach and close to a bunch of great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen could have a couple more bowls but since there weren't so many using the kitchen this wasn't a huge problem. No big complaints at all! :)
