Great room, new renovation, furniture. Clear. Excellent location, close to Weligama beach. Iresh is a very friendly host who helps to solve any issue.

Had a wonderful stay at Weligama Bay House! The place was spotlessly clean, just a minute's walk from the beach. The host was fantastic—friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. A perfect balance of comfort and proximity to the ocean. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in Weligama!

So nice taking a break from hostels. It’s around the corner from Spindrift so if you’re a solo traveller you can stay here and walk to Spindrift to meet people. Warmish water, full length mirror, comfy bed with mosquito net that I didn’t use. Had a fan but didn’t even need it when I slept. They were super chill, I checked out but left my bag there for the day and took my bath towel as a beach towel and gave it back to them when left. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. The owner gave me a lift with my bags in his tuk tuk to Spindrift where I was staying the next night, I tried to cancel Spindrift and extend here but I couldn’t.

Room wasn’t ready when I got there at 12.30pm. No AC but had a pretty good fan that I didn’t even need to use.

The owner was really nice. I checked in at 5 am and it was easily possible. It is located perfectly. The supermarket is right there and the surfscools are very close

I spent 3 nights at Weligama bay house and liked: - its central location at 500 m from surf area (east of Mariott), from fish point in the opposite direction, and its proximity to the bus station and market (including Cargills supermarket). - very clean room (not so big and with no view in my case but ok) with nice bed and mosquito net frame (I have not seen similar net elsewhere). Bathroom with hot water. Good WiFi. Good AC. - the availability of an equipped kitchen (with fridge for guests) - the kindness of Iresh (also a tuktuk driver) who lent me an umbrella and gave me good tips.

Only one electric plug in the room (but this is common in Sri Lanka) and no light close to the bed (also common)

Comfortable and clean property, in a great location! I felt really relaxed and at home here. So great to have a little kitchen and balcony to chill on.

I loved staying at Weligama Bay house! The room was a good size, big beds, AC, clean facilities, shared kitchen (which is not so common in hostels in Weligama), and outside patio with lots of space. I was working on my computer daily, and the room was perfect for this with daylight and AC. It was easy to get to know people there in the shared space, but also nice to have a private room to relax :) The location was prime, just a few seconds to the beach and the surf, and all the restaurants and coffee-shops! The owner is fantastic, and very quick to help you when you need anything! Overall, I had a great stay at Weligama Bay house! I would definitely book again.
