Peacock Villa

We stayed at Peacock Villa in Mirissa for a relaxing beach getaway and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and peaceful setting made us feel right at home. The villa itself is beautiful. Our room was very spacious and bright, with a large comfortable bed and plenty of space to unpack. The private balcony was perfect for enjoying the sounds of nature. The pool area is a real highlight. It’s clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by lovely tropical greenery, making it incredibly comfortable to lounge around all day. We were so busy that we couldn’t enjoy it! Breakfast was one of the best parts. Fresh, tasty, Sri Lankan food and generously portioned every morning. The staff were attentive and happy to accommodate small requests. The location is ideal. It’s wonderfully quiet and private, yet just a short, pleasant walk to the beach. We loved being able to stroll down whenever we wanted without any hassle. Overall, Peacock Villa offers excellent value and a perfect blend of comfort, tranquillity, and convenience. We’d highly recommend it for couples or small families looking for a peaceful Sri Lankan escape. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Extremely clean and well kept property, great host, Every one here is amazing multitaskers, exceptional breakfast, you will feel a positive vibe and warmth here.

Beautiful and clean property. Absolutely loved our stay. Host was very welcoming and always available when we wanted him. Staff are very professional and polite. Swimming pool was the best part and the room sizes were huge. 10/10

That it was a bit inside

A spacious room with a lovely little touch for our honeymoon. The hotel is calm, nice, and well located. The staff were friendly and available whenever we needed them.

The view from our balcony was just more attractive than a safari. The density of the jungle and the variety of animals have impressed us. The building is spacious, well-planned and fits the nature. The swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing on hot afternoons. However, the best part is the human side of that homestay. The host and his family are all lovely and caring. The host was just a genuine source of information about everything you wanted to know, from a river safari to the transportation schedule. Oh yes, it is silent, unlike many other homestays we passed by.

Host was great. Very friendly and willing to do whatever you needed. It’s a little bit of a walk to main beach area (10 mins) and I would stick to main road and not the ‘short cut’ but tuk tuks are cheap enough to get if you need to. Once you are at the venue it’s quite peaceful and the pool on site is excellent. We had laundry done and they turned it around that day. It was reasonable too. Breakfast was good. We tried both Sri Lankan options which were tasty and reasonably priced. The resident dog Simba is a character. Very friendly and sweet for a 9 year old. Don’t leave anything outside your room, we had a group of macaques come past and they tried to get into our room. Apparently they will take your stuff if you leave it out. Would stay again though. Was comfortable, clean and secure.
