Anthony Guesthouse

Great room. The owner Anthony and his family are very nice and friendly people. We asked them for water several times - each time they gave us huge bottles of water and did not even charge us any money for it. They have a lot of cats and kittens and a very cool dog. The beach is literally across the road, a couple of minutes by tuktuk to the beach with turtles. The location itself is quiet and pleasant. We had a great weekend there.

This is the best guesthouse we've stayed in. The rooms were spotless and modern, with a kitchen area including fridge. The hosts were exceptional, they were friendly offering tips and advice, as well as cooking the most amazing curry. The location is a few metres from the beach, although not safe for kids to swim, it isn't far to walk to the lifeguarded zone and surf breaks. We would completely recommend!

Anthony and his parents are very welcoming and show great hospitality! The room was spaceous, super clean and modern. Same goes for the bathroom. Overall one of the best places we stayed in during our 6 weeks roadtrip. There is no A/C but this didn't bother us.

Friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable

Anthony and his parents are some of the nicest people i met here so far in Sri Lanka and i've been here five times already on this lovely island. The place is right next to a really beautiful stretch of beach.

The host and his wife are extremly friendly and helped whenever possible. We really felt welcome and we would come back. Our room had a comfortable size with two seperated beds. It's near to the wonderful beach.

The Anthony Guesthouse in Hikkaduwa is the ideal location to stay. The restaurants and the train station are both fairly near by. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The breakfast was very variety and very good. The staff at the guesthouse has always been accommodating, kind, and patient. I was extremely amazed by that. You could confide in them at any time of day or night with any worries you had. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Anthony Guesthouse again. The ratio of price to performance is excellent. The doctor prescribed long beach walks, which I got ample of during my time at Anthony Guesthouse.

The room was clean, towels and blankets were given. Internet worked fine for work. Hosts very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house location is good - ocean across the street, numerous restaurants and small shops all over the road
