A basic stay but good value for money

The lady hosting the place and her husband were extremely nice. The room is simple and clean. Location is slightly outside from the area with bars and restaurants but totally doable by walking some minutes. Homemade breakfast was delicious.

I loved the welcoming I received. It is a very simple room but a very special place and the lady who is running it has the biggest smile you could see in Sri Lanka.

Everything is perfect for the price

I don't know from where to start; this place is simply wonderful. It's probably one of the best places I've stayed. If you're looking for a more authentic experience, don't look further; this is the right place. The accommodation is simple but with everything you need. The lovely Sumita and all her family will be there to help you with everything! The location is wonderful, very close to the main road but still in a very quiet area. Neighbors are lovely, everyone smiles at you in the street, and at the end of the road, there is also a small lake where you can see a lot of beautiful birds, including peacocks, and many fireflies at night. The breakfast is amazing! I tried a lot of good food around Sri Lanka, but nothing was as fresh as what Sumita prepared for me! Absolutely recommended!!

Sumitha is a very good host, great cook and she'll try her best to make you feel right at home. Very simple room, with a fan and mosquito net. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful

The family running the guesthouse is lovely, Sumita makes you feel at home. I had delicous dinner and breakfast there. Comfy bed and good location
