Great garden, very well maintened. Airco was working very well, bathroom and room were extremely clean, my food preferences were taken into account for breakfast.

My best stay in Sri Lanka. If I ever come back to Sri Lanka it is a must to visit it again. Extremely nice host, safari was very memorable and ethical, no animal chasing. I felt very safe as a single woman, which was not the case with some previous stays. Very warm and cute family working very hard to give the best experience.

I don’t even know where to begin, we had an incredible stay with the family here!!! The host was soooo nice and welcoming, made sure we had everything and went out of his way to organize trips. We booked the safari over the host as well with his brother which was really nice. He knew a lot about the animals and made an effort to spot also our favourite animals. I can only recommend for you to come here to experience true Sri Lankan warmth. And the dinner omg!!!! Best we’ve had so far 🥰

Absolutely loved our two night stay here. Subhash and his family were incredible and they are why our stay was so good. So kind and welcoming. Our full day safari organized through them was great. And the dinner both nights was delicious. Room was comfy and property was well maintained. Subhash truly cared about making our experience great. Would highly recommend!

Wer glaubt, er hätte schon die beste Unterkunft gehabt, der war noch nicht in Clay House. Es ist wirklich toll hier, die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, ist geschmackvoll, sauber und geräumig mit ausreichend Platz zum Ablegen. Die Betten sind breit und bequem, die Dusche ist warm und es gibt eine kleine Terrasse vor der Tür zum Garten hin, auf der man es sich gut gehen lassen kann. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch, das beste, was wir bisher in Sri Lanka hatten und die Familie, die uns hier bewirtet hat, ist wirklich süß. Ich empfehle auch auf jeden Fall die Safari mit dem Host des Hauses, Subhash, zu machen. Er verdient an den Zimmern nicht so viel und lebt hauptsächlich von der Safari. Er und seine Leute sind sehr erfahren, und der Preis ist wirklich fair. Subhash hatte uns eine Halbtags-beziehungsweise Ganztagstour empfohlen. Wir haben dann die Halbtagstour mit 7 Stunden genommen und sind wirklich froh, dass wir das gemacht haben, 4 Stunden wären doch etwas knapp gewesen. Die Safari war toll, wir haben neben Elefanten noch viele andere interessante Tiere gesehen.

Da gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen.
