Villa Verde Ella

We had our own pool Boys in resort v friendly Lovely dog Ruby Good views Food was pretty good and plenty of western food for the kids Pool was well kept

V dirty. Needs a deep clean and carpets in room need to be replaced asap. Filthy mattress and sheets didn't smell clean at all. Manager tried to charge me 10% on top for the nights stay despite booking.com terms. V cheeky. Over priced for what it is. Local price vs booking price v v different. You need to be happy to live with plenty of insects etc around you. Massive spider in out room and frogs all around. V remote. Nothing around you that you'd feel comfortable to walk to. Takes 25 mins off beaten track where you have to be picked up by their safari bus to take to the villa. Also you are still 10 mins from town, after you done the 25 min journey on v v bumpy road The bus broke down at 530am when we left to get train from Ella. Not ideal. Had to walk up hill and them 5 of us share a tuk tuk. Didn't have luggage for the train journey. Bit of nightmare. All the trash from resort just left in open for guest to see which is bizarre. Kinda sets the tone for the stay you are having. Would be good to have a female worker in resort. V male dominated. Light bulbs not working throughout villa. Massive flickering bulbs in room. Everything just v v tatty. Needs an update.

The room facilities where quite old and not that well maintained.

The views were outstanding. The staff were exceptional, and the breakfast and dinner options were great and very delicious. The pool overlooking the mountains was out of this world, and the room was comfortable. Amazing experience. There was also a lovely touch with a dressed bed for our honeymoon..

It’s an amazing place to stay. It's very calm and peaceful. The only sounds you hear are birds and the wind. If you’re someone who enjoys writing or needs a quiet retreat for creative work, this is an exceptional spot to focus and be inspired.

A perfect stay from start to finish. Highly recommended! Best place for honeymoons and anniversary celebrations.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the room was spotless and well-appointed, and the location was perfect. I’ll definitely be returning!
