Jungdam

Cosy hanok in a great location. The owner was very kind and friendly. Greeted us warmly and offered us some delicious homemade rice cake. There is a station for coffee and tea for use anytime. The Duplex hanok was comfortable. It is a small room but as we didn't have much luggage, it was manageable. The location is great - in the midst of the hanok village and a nice pavilion with seating right outside. we enjoyed our 1 night stay at Jungdam.

The guesthouse is clean, and the host is friendly. Location good.

However, the room description for a single traveler booking a "double room" is completely misleading. ​The room was tiny (6-7 sqm) and had no mattress at all. I had to sleep on the hard floor with just a thin quilt underneath. Worse, there was no proper blanket – only a synthetic bedspread with no sheet, which is unhygienic. ​I booked this because previous reviews praised "comfortable mattresses," only to see at checkout that other rooms actually had normal 10-15 cm thick mattresses. My low rating is not about the money—I would gladly pay more for comfort. The issue is that this crucial information was completely hidden at the time of booking. Waking up on a hard floor is a nightmare, and cleanliness cannot compensate for a ruined night's sleep
