had a truly wonderful stay at Ramesh Guesthouse. This is a charming, family-run place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. From the moment I arrived, Ramesh went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. His hospitality is genuine, attentive, and full of care, which really sets this guesthouse apart. The price is very attractive and offers incredible value compared to many other places I stayed in Sri Lanka. The room was spotless – probably the cleanest I’ve seen during my trip – and everything was maintained with great attention to detail. The bed was honestly the most comfortable one I slept on in Sri Lanka, which made a big difference after long days of traveling. What makes this place special is not only the cleanliness and comfort but also the personal touch. Ramesh and his family are always available to help, whether it’s arranging transportation, recommending local spots, or simply sharing a friendly conversation. You can tell they take pride in making sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. The guesthouse has a peaceful, home-like vibe, perfect for travelers who want to rest and recharge, yet it’s also conveniently located for exploring the area. Everything feels relaxed, authentic, and safe. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ramesh Guesthouse to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. The room was very clean, mini garden outside, mirissa beach 5min by walking distance, coconut tree hill 10min. Staff very friendly and kind. Good breakfast. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were the loveliest family, and the facilities to match it. We had everything we needed and felt very welcomed at all times.

The room was great, really clean, super comfortable bed, spacious room. Absolutely nothing to complain. I just recommend double checking the prices of other activities that Ramesh offers (snorkeling, diving, Tuktuk and rides) with different places before you agree on.

It's a cheap option

The bed is not comfortable at all, you can feel the metal. In the morning you can hear the family of the owner doing whatever in their house because the bathroom window goes into their kitchen, i woke up at 7 am listening to the kids screaming it was not pleasant.

What an absolute gem this place was! This homestay was super central, quiet, clean, spacious and just perfect! It had super fast internet, which is very important as I work remotely. The bed is super comfortable and I love that they have mosquito nets and a fridge. The family was just the sweetest family and I was really sad that I had to leave, but glad I had 5 amazing nights. One night when it was raining heavily, they even gave me food and ice team so I didn’t have to leave the property in the rain. Talking about food, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, every single day! I also renter a scooter from the, which was super convenient and I also used their laundry service and transfer to my next destination. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Marissa. It’s so nice, very inexpensive and you get so much value for money.

Nothing, it was just amazing

The perfect location to stay in Mirissa, the room and outdoor space was lovely. Cannot express enough how lovely the whole family/hosts were - you were the best hosts we had in our time in Sri Lanka and we hope to come back one day! Big hugs from us, Calum and Tash

The property is centrally located in Mirissa. Easy walking distance to all the main sites. Ramesh is extremely helpful in getting you to see other places near by. He is happy to supply transport and make arrangements for you. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and good value. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Always a pot of tea waiting when you return from a day’s outing. A lovely family environment.
