Lilly Palace Villa Guest House

Lovely property very close to the airport. We arrived early in the morning around 1am and the owners were very friendly and had no issue checking us in at this time. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Air con costs 1000LKR extra per room, but we were fine with this.

It was a little tricky to find but the hosts gave us clear instructions and photos which helped a lot. Would’ve been easier during the daytime.

Host is very cooperative.

At night suddenly no electricity power around 3 h..

It wasn’t really clean

It is really really clean, which was the main reason I have chosen this place, the owners are lovely people also, but the only good thing about the location is that it is close to the airport, it is only good for a quick night before or after your flight. Also due to my late flight, since there were no guests other than me, I have asked if I can stay a couple hours more for an extra fee, they wanted to charge me an extra night only for a few hours overstay, at the end they charged me for half a night after some negotiations but all in all it was still quite expensive, I have paid over 6300lrs for a night, which was the most I have spent during my 1 month trip in sri lanka including for hotels right on beach with aircon.... But again it was clean and included a simple but nice breakfast!
