Sigiri Regal Residence

Two seperate ensuite bedrooms separate from their house on a quiet street. Our host was extremely hospitable and was beyond helpful. It’s a street behind a busy street so very little noise. Super cold ac, very clean rooms. Please stay to support this lovely family.

We loved this stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a big bathroom. They were surrounded by nature too it was very peaceful. The owners were so kind, friendly and made us a delicious breakfast. They also greeted us with mango juice and had a moped that we could rent during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We can’t recommend this place enough. You start each morning with amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. Every day you get a litre of bottled water and plenty of fruits. We basically always left with some extra food as a take away for the rest of the day. There is no better way to experience domestic breakfast than this. The place was really clean and there was unlimited hot water with great pressure. You can choose whether to use an AC or a fan, or even a both. WiFi was also great. There are plenty of restaurants around within 15min walking distance and the rest are just a 5 min away with a TukTuk which will cost you no more than 2$ for one way. The owners are always there to help you with any informations and they are so kind that we felt like a part of the family during the whole stay. It was really hard to leave. 10/10 Much love!

Amazing place with wonderful host ! He and his lovely wife provided wonderful service, also he took as with his tuktuk everywhere we need. Was very helpful and lovely. Highly recommend!

The garden is beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. The room had ac which was nice given the heat. The bed was very comfortable and the owners are the sweetest people. We got fresh coconut when we arrived which they cut from their own trees. The owner lend us his moped for a reasonable price, which was great to get around town, to lion’s rock and to the lake.

The wifi wasn’t so good.

Wonderful breakfasts - fresh fruit and homemade local specialties. Sistra and his charming wife will also provide quite outstanding evening meals on request. The two evening meals I had here were definitely the best I had anywhere in Sri Lanka ( and food in Sri Lanka is delicious everywhere) And the garden is beautiful and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes from Sigiriya rock. Only 2 delightful bungalows, and exceptional value. You won’t be disappointed I assure you. 👏

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owners were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.
