Sigiri Lion Lodge

The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious.

Due to heavy rain and thunder, there was a temporary power interruption. It would be beneficial for the property to have a backup generator. however, this was not a major issue. Overall, the room was excellent.

Les hôtes sont gentils, mais pas vraiment honnêtes. Tout d’abord, ils font payer la climatisation sans nous en informer au préalable et peuvent la couper à leur convenance. Lorsque nous avons demandé des vélos à louer, le prix annoncé par Monsieur était différent de celui de Madame. Les tarifs semblent également gonflés sous prétexte que nous sommes des touristes, ce qui donne une impression d’abus. Je ne recommande pas cet hébergement en raison de ce manque de transparence. Par ailleurs, l’hôtel est en travaux, avec du passage constant à côté et en face des chambres, ce qui peut être gênant. Enfin, la salle de bain comme la chambre n’étaient pas propres, et nous avons même eu la présence d’un gros cafard dans la chambre.

The owners were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. Really nice to talk to. The location was also great. Breakfast was fine, nice space to sit at and good spread to pick from.

Overall the room was just adequate. The bed was reasonably comfy and the room spacious. However the bathroom was not in great condition - the window was broken (leading to the occasional bug getting in), water pressure for shower was low and toilet not fixed properly to floor. You get what you pay for I suppose and to be so greatly located in Sigiriya is probably worth it.

Sigiri Lion Lodge was lovely and clean, nice rooms, good location, breakfast was fine. The location was great - easy walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again if I went to Sigiriya.

Very sweet host. Smooth Stay and we love staying there. Facilities breakfast everything is superb. They even help up go to Sigirya Lion Rock.

Ajith and his family were very helpful and accommodating during our stay. The lodge provides a simple and affordable place to rest. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. Air conditioning provided great relief from the humidity of Sigiria

Room lacks natural light and a portion of the property is currently being renovated but this did not impact our stay
