Train View Villa

Not much.

It was down a dirt track/lane. Dangerous electrics in bathroom. Rainfall shower didn’t work. Bedding and towels sub standard. No kettle. local eating places not very appealing.

Everything was fine - nothing fancy. The highlight for us was having dinner at The Train View (a guesthouse about 1.5Km away). The food was delicious. Got to meet the hosts family - a very authentic experience

There were a couple of steps into the en-suite. Potentially a hazard when using the loo at night. The bed had an under sheet but no top sheet - just a blanket which had probably been used by others . We communicated this to the host who said he would make sure a top sheet was provided in the future.

Cheap and quite good place for one night to get train to Ella. Helpful manager, tried to do as much as possible in current situation. In photos looks much better, but for such price and one night it is ok. Very noisy beds. Location for train not perfect, but manager arranged tuk tuk. Almost imposible to see the train, around just poor vilage houses. Very unpleasant bathroom...

The Property is located near near to the train station and you will probably have a very comfortable stay there. Especially the service was amazing! The Staff even made me Breakfast at 5:30 in the morning and if you have question he is always available.

It was such a nice stay for one night. The host was so friendly and helpful, we got such a nice early breakfast before our check out. It was located perfectly, it took only 15mins to walk to Ella railway station.

We arrived a day early to my booking (vacation brain) but they looked after us. Staff was great! I am 6'5 so the bed footer made it a tight fit but otherwise things were great. The 15 min walk from the train station allows for some amazing views of the countryside.

Clean, good internet, not far from railway station.

No one present when I arrived. I had to get a next door neighbour to telephone manager. No signs indicating accommodation. I had to match picture with my vision.
