Mallika Guest House

It’s a fantastic location, just in front of the beach We went there in low season (july), but the beach in front has a stone barrier so that even with high waves, the children could swim safely. With a very nice restaurant, and wonderful, friendly lady of the house and personnel, that brings so much joy, which already makes your stay great. They were able to accommodate all our requests, such as an extra mosquito net the extra child. It was also our first location with air conditioning, which was just lovely!

Amazing location just across the street from the beach. The hotel has a bar/restaurant located on the beach and you can get a sunbed for free. Room was comfortable, with AC and really great value.

We were very satisfied with our stay with this nice family. Very welcoming, Family approach from the provider side. An impeccable location almost on the Beach, the food option that we liked the most in all of Tangalle and on top of that a private barbecue evening just fot us. I recommended everyone to stay bere and we will definitely come back.

The USPs of this property is it's location, across the road from a pristine stretch of Medilla Beach and the warmth of Mallika, Ishan, Assi and the rest of her family & staff. We stayed for 6 nights during which we felt like part of Mallika's extended family. The shared kitchen is an added boon for days one wishes a change of palate from the local fare. The sound of the sea lulled us to sleep & awoke us each day, which more than made up for the basic but very clean room.

The warmth and care of Mallika, her husband and their son Ishan. Also the younger one, whose name I don't remember. The housekeeper and Asi were sexceptional.
