Emplacement parfait aussi bien côté ville que côté plage. Beau jardin et personnel charmant! Pdj 3*

Equipement rudimentaire mais bien géré. Une bouilloire dans la chambre et ce serait parfait!

Die Lage am Strand ist kaum zu überbieten. Außerdem zwei Minuten Fußweg zur belebten Straße, trotzdem ganz ruhig. Service super, Wäsche konnte man auch waschen lassen. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, sehr freundlich, hat unseren Sohn extra Fanta besorgt :-) Essen war sehr lecker und vom Preis völlig in Ordnung.

Die Dusche ist renonvierungsbeduerftig.

Location on the beach

Pathetic value for money. Stayed for an additional US$ 9 in a five star room at Hilton CMB 2 weeks ago. Sandy beach hotel has decades of maintenance backlog (our room had holes in the roof & BR in “historic” condition), NO backup generator (when Arugam bay had a day of blackout 10:00 to 18:00 no aircon & room not usable); NO card payment (they make you walk 1km to the next ATM; etc. etc. recommend to avoid this property.

Me alojé en Sandy Beach Hotel y sinceramente creo que es el mejor lugar para hospedarse en Arugam Bay. Es precioso, justo delante de la playa. Está en una ubicación perfecta: cerca de todo, pero lo suficientemente alejado del bullicio de la vida nocturna, así que se puede descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Es el sitio ideal para despertar con un buen amanecer y buena energía. El personal es muy amable y servicial, la comida muy rica, y Alex es encantador, muy atento en que todas tus necesidades estén completamente cubiertas durante tu estancia en Sandy.

Como único punto negativo, diría que no se puede pagar con tarjeta. Si no lo sabes de antemano, el último día puedes encontrarte con la sorpresa de tener que sacar bastante dinero en efectivo de los cajeros, lo cual puede ser un poco engorroso.
